Southern California Boutique Hospitality Company, Eat.Drink.Sleep, Announces Deals for Cyber Monday

Thank goodness Cyber Monday is upon us! Gift the gift of travel this holiday season! With supply chain issues affecting retailers and consumers this holiday season, gift giving can be a lot more challenging and make you feel more like Scrooge than Santa. More than ever, people are looking for gifts that support local, independent businesses; offer experiences; and don’t rely on unpredictable supply chains – making gift cards an ideal option.

Southern California boutique hospitality company, Eat.Drink.Sleepis offering 25% off room rates at all five of its hotels this year. This includes Tower23 and JRDN, San Diego’s only deluxe contemporary hotel on the beach and award-winning destination restaurant and Bellanca Hotel and The Naughty Fox,  Catalina Island’s newly reopened hotel with ocean views and a restaurant that is as popular for its lounge as its dining menu. More about their portfolio of hotels can be found here.

Book Dates: Friday November 26 - Monday, November 29
Travel Dates: December 1, 2021 - December 1, 2022

According to a Blackhawk Network survey, last year, as consumers looked for convenient, contactless ways to spread holiday cheer, gift cards recorded a banner year as one of the season’s most popular gifts. This year, because of the ease of giving a gift card and the growing concern over slower delivery times and inventory issues, gift cards are again a “must have” item on most people’s lists.

  • Eighty-three percent of consumers surveyed want to give a gift card instead of a physical gift this year

  • Consumers expect to spend 41% of their holiday gifting budget, or $272 on average, on gift cards this year

  • This is a 27% increase from what consumers reported spending on gift cards last year.

  • Dining/restaurants and experiential gifts were the survey’s most popular gift card categories this holiday season
