American Express Offers Fans Multiple VIP Options During ACL Weekend 2025
Festival-goers are in for an added treat when it comes to activations and VIP opportunities at Austin City Limits 2025. Taking place over the span of two-weekends, Oct 3rd-5th and Oct.10th-12th guests will have multiple items to check out elevated experiences at the beloved three-day music festival. Check out the below happenings that’ll be on full display throughout the festival.
At the Amex Experience, all festival goers can explore an immersive space with a Customization Workshop where:
Card Members will be gifted an exclusive cross body bag that they can customize with Austin-themed charms (think bats, musical instruments and the iconic flags).
All guests can purchase an exclusive ACL Fest trucker hat ($35) that can be customized with the Austin-themed charms in the Workshop.
Guests can take photos in a retro music room adorned with colorful posters, a light up peg board, and throwback decor. There will also be a photo booth where guests can insert themselves onto an album cover to share on social media and save as a keepsake.
All guests can grab a refreshing can of classic Coke out of retro-style fridges, in partnership with Coca Cola.
The Amex Side-Stage, exclusively available to Platinum Card Members next to the American Express Stage, features a lounge to reset and get up close to the music (space is limited).
Platinum Card Members can bring up to two guests into the space.
The space will include an air-conditioned bar offering beverages for purchase and shaded seating.
Card Members can personalize Platinum bolo ties, while supplies last.
During two daily “happy hours,” Platinum Card Members can receive a complimentary Jolene canned Cold Brew or Latte and all guests can grab a Rambler sparkling water.
Eligible Card Members can also enjoy exclusive access to a dedicated side-stage area for the set of their choice, on a first-come, first-serve basis.

Cashless Entrances - Card Members and their guests who have linked an American Express Card to their ACL Wristband can use the Amex Cashless Entrances at Barton Springs West and Lady Bird Lake to get to the music faster.
A Cashless Credit - Card Members that register for ACL Cashless with their American Express Card will receive a $5 Spend Credit toward purchases made at the festival.
Card Member Lane at Main Merch- A dedicated fast lane to skip the main line and start shopping, just tap your Amex-linked wristband to enter.
Merch To-Go Window - Card Members can purchase curated bundles of exclusive Festival merch including bandanas, totes and pennants, while supplies last, beside the Amex Experience.
Amex Giveaway Cart - A roaming pop-up full of festival essential items from La Roche Posay and Loop Earplugs – complimentary for Card Members.
