BMI Brings Top Talent to the Stage During Weekend One of Austin City Limits 2025
The BMI Stage returned to Zilker Park for the 2025 Austin City Limits Music Festival this past weekend (Oct. 3-5) to continue its twenty-two year tradition of presenting “a new crop of rising stars,” (Dallas Observer). During weekend one, BMI brought a “bigger and brighter production” (Texas Tasty) to its new stage with a must-see lineup that included Aaron Page, Chuwi, Clover Country, GoldFord, INOHA, LVVRS, Moody Joody, Nicky Youre, S.L. Houser, Tyler Ballgame and Zinadelphia.
BMI affiliates infused the festival grounds with talent throughout the weekend as unforgettable sets were delivered by Cage the Elephant, Djo, Disco Lines, Doechii, Dr. Dog, Gigi Perez, Hozier, John Summit, Luke Combs, Rainbow Kitten Surprise, Role Model, Sabrina Carpenter, The Backseat Lovers, 2025 BMI President's Award recipient T-Pain, Wet Leg and more. Combs’ headlining spot comes eight years after he made his ACL debut on the festival’s BMI stage in 2017. Previous BMI stage alums who returned to Zilker Park this year included Maren Morris (2016) and Tanner Usrey (2023).
Recently BMI and C3 Presents, one of the world’s largest music festival producers, announced the extension of their long-standing partnership through 2028. The renewed multi-year agreement solidifies BMI as the only performing rights organization with stages at the Austin City Limits Music Festival and Lollapalooza. For the past two decades, the BMI stage has been known to usher in the next wave of emerging talent across all genres.
