Talent beams from Queen-Bey's 'Squad'. Divinity Roxx, Beyonce's bassist (2006-2011), has released her album, "ImPossible".

Having played for important leaders and key events such as: President Obama, Oprah, Ellen, the MTV Music Awards and more as bassist and musical director for Beyonce. On her own, she has won many awards and graced the cover of Bass Musicians Magazine and Bass Magazine. In addition to Divinity Roxx other members of her ensemble include: Lamar A. Moore: Drums, Julian Litwack: Guitar, and Babl Lemmens: Rhodes, Piano.

Through the course of her breakout album, listeners will get a clear sense of who she is as an individual and as an artist. Her music is transparent and is heightened on her ability to be vulnerable, which in other artists something that is showcased later in their career. The lead single, "We Are", produced by Keith Harris of The Black Eyed Peas (and also happened to play drums on this record), is a single about overcoming, empowering, and believing in yourself. With lyrics such as "my heart is pounding with passion," and " will love really conquer all - is it worth the fall", it's easy to resonate with the 'body' of this song and the album as a whole.

A mix of old-school R&B legends such as Erykah Badu and Lauryn Hill is at the solid core of the sound. With poetic runs similar to Kendrick Lamar and Childish Gambino and delivery close to those on the Broadway hit, 'Hamilton' - Divinity Roxx leaves me speechless.
