Sundance Film Festival 2026 Celebrity Sightings (Updating)

Sundance, often dubbed the “Last Dance” in Park City, has officially wrapped its first weekend. Celebrities, filmmakers, and cinephiles alike descended on Park City to celebrate all things film. From big-budget productions to indie projects hoping to land a major deal, the festival showcased an impressive range of talent—with no shortage of star power. Take a look below at some celebrity sightings one last time in Park City!

Park City was flooded with A-list talent, with several co-stars making stylish arrivals at their respective film premieres. Notable moments included Olivia Wilde and Seth Rogen arriving at THE INVITE, Channing Tatum and Gemma Chan arriving at JOSEPHINE, and Jenna Ortega and Natalie Portman arriving at THE GALLERIST. Other sightings brought a blend of old Hollywood glamour-meets-mountain chic, courtesy of stars like Alexander Skarsgård, Rob Lowe, Chris Pine, and Zoey Deutch. The week's star-studded attendees also featured Ethan Hawke, Dave Franco, Olivia Colman, Will Poulter, Elizabeth Debicki, Taika Waititi, Jenny Slate, Edward Norton, Molly Ringwald, John Slattery, Gillian Jacobs, Iliza Shlesinger, Domhnall Gleeson, Patrick Wilson, and more.

Patrick first stopped by the UTA House and posed with a Ketel One Espresso Martini and then checked out the Audible Listening Lodge where he toasted with this year’s warm serve, Sweater Weather, as well as the Après Noir, Charles Joly’s seasonal take on the Espresso Martini created for Ketel One Vodka.

Sundance is off with a bang and the stars from some of the Festival’s buzziest titles are stopping by the Acura House of Energy to celebrate this pinnacle year in Park City. Sharing photos below of how Rob Lowe, Haley Lu Richardson, Riz Ahmed, Olivia Coleman, Elizabeth Debicki, Peter Dinklage, Will Poulter, Michelle Mao, Bronwyn Newport + more are embracing ‘mountain chic’ attire to beat the Park City chill.

Stars are continuing to show up and step out at the 2026 Sundance Film Festival, the latest being none other than the ever-iconic — Alexander Skarsgård (THE MOMENT). This morning the fashion icon stepped out debuting his best "mountain chic" in Park City (some might even say he is the moment!).

On Saturday, January 24th, Alexander Skarsgård was honored at the Variety Magazine Cover Party where he gave a hilarious self-deprecating speech about his lack of nominations and award wins. Guests mingled and enjoyed Ketel One Green Light Martinis and the Après Noir, Charles Joly’s seasonal take on the Espresso Martini created for Ketel One Vodka.

Stars aligned at the iconic premiere party for Chasing Summer hosted at the Acura House of Energy on Monday. Including the stars of the film, Iliza Shlesinger (who also wrote it), Tom Welling, Garrett Wareing, Aimee Garcia, and director Josephine Decker, the cast and crew danced all night following their incredible film premiere, with DJ Cardi dubbing it the ‘wildest party at Sundance’ and we have the pictures to prove it. 

The group danced on stage, belting out lyrics to nostalgic pop punk hits like "Mr. Brightside,”, “My Own Worst Enemy,” and more, channeling the nostalgic vibes of the film which focuses on a woman heading back to her Texas hometown and reconnecting with high school friends. Other dancing guests included Nicholas Alexander Chavez (Monsters: The Lyle and Erik Menendez Story).

It was a packed and electric day at the Acura House of Energy! The day was filled with candid thought-provoking conversations, mingling, and celebratory moments. Celebrities continued to stop by the House of Energy for fun photobooth pics in our cozy village including Kiernan Shipka, Gemma Chan, and more. Today, the automaker hosted a panel with IMDb, featuring rising stars from some of the Festival’s buzziest titles, and a panel and happy hour with Indigenous House, before closing the night out with the annual IndieWire Chili Party

The Acura House of Energy was buzzing with excitement for the annual IndieWire Chili Party. The longtime tradition brought out filmmakers and creatives to celebrate the pinnacle culmination of the Festival in Park City. Sheltering from the cold, guests warmed up with delicious chili and danced the night away to an iconic set from DJ Cardi.

Acura hosted IMDbPro’s insightful panel with stars on the rise from this year’s Festival including Michelle Mao (Zi), Will Price (The Only Living Pickpocket in New York), and Gideon Adlon (Worried). Moderated by Jeff Luppino-Esposito, Sr. Content Strategist, IMDbPro, the industry’s brightest young stars discussed their Sundance experience, their first IMDb credit, how independent filmmaking has shaped their artistic journey, and more. 

Gideon Adlon spoke about joining the Euphoria cast, sharing how the cast and crew “is incredible,” and how special shooting the series on film was to her. Michelle Mao expressed her gratitude for joining the Bridgerton series, joking about how cigarette breaks with the cast are where all the important conversations are had.

Earlier this afternoon, Indigenous House – the new digital media platform and YouTube channel celebrating Indigenous voices and creators – introduced itself to a packed house of festivalgoers for the panel “Elevating Indigenous Voices in Entertainment, Media, and Culture.” First, Indigenous House founders Crystal Echo Hawk and Michael Johnson spoke with creators from Indigenous House’s digital cohort Jade Begay, host of the new JADED podcast, and Chef Claudia Serrato, whose upcoming show Taste Memory will debut on the Indigenous House YouTube channel in the coming months. Together, the group discussed the importance of storytelling, how to stay hopeful while maintaining honesty, and more. 

Then, Crystal and Michael were joined by Adam Piron, Director of Sundance Institute's Indigenous Program, Cara Jade Myers of Killers of the Flower Moon fame, and Zack Khalil, director of Aanikoobijigan premiering at the Festival on Monday. The group discussed how crucial it is for Indigenous people to tell their own stories, their upcoming projects, and more.
