Operation Smile Honored Harrison Ford, Gene Simmons, and The Rodosky Family at The Los Angeles Smile Fiesta
Harrison Ford and Gene Simmons both have something to smile about - the legends were recently honored at The Operation Smile Fiesta in Los Angeles.
The Operation Smile fiesta reunited our Los Angeles supporters to create new smiles in Latin America and across the world. Academy Award nominee Harrison Ford received the Dr. Randy Sherman Visionary Award, while Rock & Roll Hall of Famer Gene Simmons of KISS received the Universal Smile Award. Longtime Operation Smile supporters and philanthropists, the Rodosky Family, were honored with the Philanthropic Leadership Award. Extra’s on-air correspondent, Billy Bush served as the evening’s MC.
Guests were treated to powerful performances by Valeria Mason, Dash Mihok, Carmit Bachar, Lil Eddie, Ty Taylor, mariachi performers and folklorico dancers-Cultura Revolucion, and 10-feet-tall stilt walkers from Sandoval Entertainment. The floral-themed fiesta featured a vibrant dinner, music by DJ Lezlee, silent auction with priceless Han Solo sculptures by Lladró signed on-site by Harrison Ford, as well as KISS vinyl records signed at the fiesta by Gene Simmons and Paul Stanley, and an autographed book by Cher of her NYT Bestselling memoir, and a signed guitar from Gene Simmons.
