Cardi B, Lizzo, Tiffany Haddish, Law Roach, Bozoma Saint John, Evan Ross, Tyrese, Joyner Lucas and More Join Hollywood Cares Dinner
Recently, The Hollywood Cares Foundation (the nonprofit founded by Stockton Vice Mayor Jason Lee to expand opportunity for underserved youth) brought together approximately 50 guests for an intimate fundraising dinner last night at a private estate in Beverly Hills. Hosted by Cardi B, the evening raised funds to support Hollywood Cares' youth leadership, civic engagement, and personal development programming in Stockton.
The evening began with a cocktail hour before guests sat down to a dinner catered by celebrity chef Wolfgang Puck.
Notable attendees included Lizzo, Tiffany Haddish, Law Roach, Bozoma Saint John, Evan Ross, Mona Scott, Tyrese, Joyner Lucas, Steven Cloobeck, and Lou Young III. Additional donors supporting the cause included Gary Vaynerchuk, Paris Hilton, and Robert Smith.
The fundraiser underscores a growing coalition of entertainment, business, and philanthropic leaders rallying around investment in Stockton's next generation.
"Stockton's young people deserve the same access to opportunity as anyone else, and nights like this remind me that people are willing to show up for that belief," said Jason Lee. "I'm grateful to Cardi B and everyone in that room for putting real resources behind our youth - this isn't charity, it's an investment in what Stockton can become."
Funds raised will support Hollywood Cares' ongoing programming in Stockton, including the Leadership Unlocked youth summits, the I AM READY workshops, and community initiatives such as Toys for Joy - building on the Foundation's broader mission of expanding access to leadership development, civic engagement, and mental health and wellness resources for underserved youth.
