This past weekend all eyes in entertainment were focused on the American Music Awards held in Los Angeles, California.

Of course the actual show was the main attraction, however there were a lot of happenings over LA to prep for the big day. Route 91 Strong, a non-profit that branded together after the tragic incident in Las Vegas last month. Created by survivors Brian Claypool and Lisa Fine the organization strives to build unity and provide funds for the families affected by the horrendous incident. They just hosted a benefit concert recently which gained over $345,000 for the victims and their families. The next event is slated to take place on January 17th at The Avalon in Hollywood!
