Hosting an exclusive preview to celebrate their partnership, Turner, invited some of his close friends and colleagues to its flagship store in West Hollywood, CA.
"It's great, I'm excited about the collaboration with Westfield," Turner exclaimed. "I think the village is a really cool property I'm excited to bring my flavor to that kind of experience."
Announced earlier this week, Turner will open a pop up shop at The Village at Westfield Topanga, which will be open to the public on September 18, 2015. The shop aptly named, Nathan Turner’s American Style will showcase his distinctive design aesthetic as well as a carefully curated selection of American-made products from all over the United States.
Attendees at this evening’s event included Nathan Turner, Beth Ann Kaminkow (Global Chief Marketing Officer, Westfield) and Larry Green (Senior Vice President of Development, Westfield). Turner was also joined by some of his close friends and colleagues including Claire Vivier, Martyn Lawrence Bullard, and Mary Mc Donald. Other guests in attendance included Blair Kohan, Courtenay Valenti, Jaume Collet-Serra, John Goldwyn, Lionel Wigram, Lidija Wigram, Sue Kroll, Ben Sherwood, and Caroline Vreeland.
Using the hashtag #ItTakesTheVillage guests were able to view the campaign and peruse goods that will be sold at the pop up shop. Attendees also received copies of Turner’s book, “Nathan Turner’s American Style: Classic Design and Effortless Entertaining.”
It was an evening of viewing his latest creations while catching up on future endeavors. Stay tuned for further updates and be sure to check out the store opening at The Village at Westfield Topanga!
