Celebs and insiders gathered at the trendy Loft at the W Hotel recently for the Unlikely Heroes 'Night of Freedom,' in LA! The event was hosted  by “grown-ish” star, Francia Raísa, critically acclaimed, “MADtv” comedian, Anjelah Johnson, award winning singer-songwriter, Shane Stevens, “13 Reasons Why” producer, Mandy Teefey and CEO and founder of Unlikely Heroes, Erica Greve. 

The evening kicked-off as Raísa welcomed guests to the exclusive event that benefits the nonprofit organization, Unlikely Heroes, which rescues, restores and rehabilitates child victims of sex slavery around the world. The “grown-ish” actress shared stories of her recent visit and time spent with the girls while visiting the Unlikely Heroes restoration home in Dallas, Texas. Advocating for change, the actress encouraged guests to learn more about the organization, which has changed the lives of hundreds of girls around the world. Raísa concluded her speech by welcoming her good friend, Evan Ross for a special surprise performance, an accappela rendition of “What You Won’t Do for Love.”

The red carpet cocktail party featured live music by DJ White Shadow while guests sipped on libations provided by Tito’s Handmade Vodka and BeatBox Beverages. The exclusive event was joined by top influencers, philanthropists and celebrity guests to raise awareness about human trafficking and celebrate freedom with all proceeds directly benefiting Unlikely Heroes and their mission to rescue and restore child victims of slavery worldwide.
