Smashbox & Christian Cowan Celebrate The LGBTQIA+ Community with Pride Collaboration

Following an industry-breaking New York Fashion Week Fall/Winter 2022 runway show taking place on the 102nd floor of the One World Trade Center and a never-before-done flagship opening in Soho, Los Angeles-born Smashbox Cosmetics announced their synergistic Pride Makeup Kit with Designer, Christian Cowan, which launched June 12, 2022 on Smashbox.com for $50 USD.

The kit is a limited-edition makeup kit curated by the one and only, Christian Cowan, to celebrate Pride. Christian designed this major glam bag and loaded it with essentials for expressing yourself through color. Open it up to find: The Original Photo Finish Smooth & Blur Primer; Always On Cream Shadow in Cerulean and Rose in honor of the Transgender Pride Flag; plus, an Always On Liquid Lipstick in Maneater that’s customized with Christian’s emblem.

“Of course, showing Pride is a 365 days-a-year event, but we all know Pride month especially gets real,”  Christian Cowan shares. “I wanted to give the long-lasting essentials to get you through the festivities – so more celebrating, less touchups.”

As part of Smashbox's partnership with Christian Cowan, Smashbox Cosmetics is proud to have made a starting grant of $2,500 to Christian’s charity of choice, the Ali Forney Center, the nation’s largest nonprofit providing shelter and wraparound services committed to saving and protecting the lives of LGBTQ+ young people from the harms of homelessness and empowering them with the tools needed to live independently. The grant has been made in honor of the brand’s LGBTQIA+ creators: Dylan Davis, Stevens Añazco, Idalis Rideout, Kyle Dallape, Aniya Smith, Melony Lemon, Bella Johnson, Donnie Holmes, Kalista Stage, and Chime Dolker.
