Celebrity stylist, Kara Welch launched her capsule collection with America's favorite denim brand - Levi's, and let's just say: WORTH IT! Yeah Yeah Yeahs, SZA, and Lauryn Hill chimed in on the 'too perfect' collab by performing at the Hollywood Palladium recently in celebration of 501 Day!

Every year on May 20th, Levi’s celebrates the birthday of the jean that started it all - the original blue jean, the Levi’s 501. May 20th, 1873 was the date of Levi’s patent for the rivet pocket and everyone who has worn Levi’s 501 original jeans contributed to their ever-changing story. This season brings a first: Levi’s x karla 501 Day Collection!
The notable stylist who has a pretty impressive roster of Tracee Ellis Ross, and more has launched her collab and seamlessly shed light on the foundation of the brand by using the iconic, and original, denim hue. This collection consists of a 9-piece capsule collection and seamlessly adds a touch of vintage flare to each item.

The low-key music festival turned fashion show merged iconic undeniable fashion with reputable music artists and it was everything you could imagine! Yeah Yeah Yeahs took the stage to sing their popular items such as, "Heads Will Roll," while sultry (and fresh-faced) SZA opted for connecting with the audience with her singles. Throughout the course of the evening SZA sang her singles, "Love Galore," before tempting the audience with "The Weekend." "Does anyone know what day it is," asked SZA. "No, but really does anyone know what day it is," SZA teased as she started her single, "The Weekend."
As the event was set to wrap around 11, the question of Lauryn Hill's performance quickly made its way to the forefront. Guest after guest doubted her appearance, yet she kept her word and pulled through with a performance that was worth the wait. Hill, who needs no introduction, has been a staple to hip-hop music for years! With a style similar to spoken word poetry over the hottest beats, she has always been known to spread important messages and getting listeners to channel various ways of thingking while challenging perception. Her classic hits such as: "Ready or Not," "Doo Wop," "Ex-Factor," and more, her talent is undeniable.
