Top-Tier Wines to Consider for National Wine Day

Top-Tier Wines to Consider for National Wine Day

This year we may have to treat National Wine Day a little differently due to COVID-19, however that's even more reason to "treat yo self," with a few of our favorites below. Whether you're spending the day at the beach, from your balcony, or enjoying a movie marathon from the comfort of your couch, these delicious wines are the perfect complement for any plan.

Celebrate National Wine Day with our below favorites!

Wine Insiders:

Thanks to Wine Insiders you can order high quality wine without the hefty price tag. Wines include wines with a rating of 90+, vegan wines as well as wines from regions such as: Italy, France, Chile, Spain, South Africa and more. Enjoy your favorite imports from the comfort of your home.

Cellars Wine Club:

Treat yourself and/or your loved ones when you join Cellars Wine Club! From single-bottle subscriptions to case clubs, Cellars Wine Club has affordable options for you. Starting at $29, or as little as $12 a bottle, give the gift of wine to yourself or your favorite wine connoisseur. The best part is that there is zero obligation and you can cancel at any time!

2019 Belle Glos Oeil de Perdrix Pinot Noir Blanc:

This is a bespoke rosé in that the Pinot Noir grapes were grown specifically with the intention of making a rosé wine. Pale pink with a copper hue, this wine has a classic “eye of the partridge” color. Citrus-driven aromas carry through to the palate. On entry, bright acidity and flavors of pink grapefruit and lemon zest enliven the orange creamsicle notes, while hints of dried apricot and sweet spice add complexity.

2017 Elouan Oregon Pinot Noir:

Elouan means ‘good light,’ reflective of the cool yet abundant sunshine found in this winegrowing region. Wine drinkers will enjoy the flavors of dried cherries, blackberry, and high fruit notes with hints of vanilla and clove spice. Pair with Roasted lamb chops with garlic and herb red potatoes, wild mushroom polenta, or goat cheese and walnut endive salad with raspberry balsamic drizzle.

The Great Brain Cell Sacrifice

Drinking for a cause?! Sign me up! The Great Brain Cell Sacrifice is a wine that was founded so that every bottle sold helps kids in underfunded communities learn to read.  With school closures, they are now directing all their donations to provide children with much-needed literary resources while they're out of school to support them in their journey to literacy.  The Great Brain Cell Sacrifice offers Pinot NoirChenin Blanc and Rosé from top Santa Barbara producer Lieu Dit. Additionally they offer FREE same-day delivery in NYC and LA and ship to most states.

Today is National Wine Day, so of course we're popping corks with some of our favorite wine brands to celebrate the occasion. In all actuality, who needs an "excuse" to drink wine - but we'll take it! In either case, Happy National Wine Day and please remember to drink responsibly!
