Throughout the past year, we have noticed a ton of THC & CBD beverages  arising. With the constant passing of legalization across the country, more and more states are getting on-board with recreation cannabis use. Pamos is a modern spirit for classic occasions that has arrived at the perfect time! It’s a premium quality, non-alcoholic cannabis spirit infused with THC & CBD.

“Whether hosting a dinner, enjoying a warm sunset, or long nights with good friends, Pamos is the perfect drink for those looking to get the most out of the moment without regretting it in the morning,” said David Mukpo, co-founder and CEO of Pamos. “We believe people are looking for healthier ways to unwind and enjoy themselves, and we are committed to providing consumers with a high-quality product that does exactly that while mimicking the familiar form of a spirit.”

Currently there are two offerings:

o Micro Dose - features 2mg of THC & 2mg of CBD per serving ($60)

o Low Dose - features 6mg of THC & 2mg of CBD per serving ($65) — allowing you to find the experience that's best for you.

Whichever you opt for, you can expect a bright, balanced flavor that’s versatile and smooth using only the finest ingredients. Infused with citrus, sweet fruit, and aromatic herbs & spices, and you can enjoy it on the rocks or tap into your inner mixologist by crafting a cannabis “cocktail” with a twist.

IdentifyLA: What makes Pamos different from any other similar beverage that's currently on the market.

David Muko: We built Pamos with one core objective in mind – to provide consumers with a premium quality cannabis product that could be consumed in a form that they are familiar with. The form factor we were targeting is a non-alcoholic, distilled spirit that can be mixed into any cocktail. That is something almost everyone can relate to and can be enjoyed in a social setting or after a long day at the office. The beverage segment is growing rapidly and many of the players continue to raise the bar, but in our assessment, there isn’t a product out there that hits on all the factors that we believe are important to consumers – premium ingredients, health and wellness, cocktail form, dual strength, etc. As a new industry with tremendous space to grow, we are committed to partnering with cannabis beverage brands across the category as we see all of our success as intrinsically tied together.

IDLA: Can you tell us a little bit about the process of creating Pamos?

DM: Throughout the process, we were committed to merging the advanced science within the segment with the art of developing a unique flavor profile that was distinctly Pamos. The most exciting piece that makes a cannabis beverage even possible is the nano-emulsification of the cannabis itself. This process undertaken by our partners makes the THC water-soluble but has the incredible side effect of changing the bioavailability of the product. By breaking down the THC into such small particles, you can start to enjoy the effect of Pamos in about 15 minutes as opposed to the long wait associated with most edibles. This has the ability to change people’s perception of cannabis as it allows the timeline of effect to mimic our experience drinking alcohol, which will open the door to many new consumers. With respect to the flavor profile, we worked tirelessly with our formulation team to deliver a product that has citrus and herbal notes, hints of ripe fruit, and botanicals with a complex, yet light spice finish.

IDLA: When compared to other beverages (Cann, etc.) is there a limit to the dose amount? How did you/your team create the dose amount?

DM: This is a great question that goes to the core of why Pamos was created in the spirit form factor. While everyone has different tolerances, and we have multiple strengths to reflect that, we are committed to providing a product that is familiar for people in how they consume it. This means getting away from traditional cannabis which is consumed once with no ability to adjust your experience from there. Pamos is designed to be stackable, both with our spirit form and fast onset. This means a consumer can have multiple Pamos cocktails, quickly seeing the effect it is having and decide the right number of drinks for their desired effect. This is how we consume alcohol, and we need to give people the same flexibility in allowing them to consume steadily in any setting.

IDLA: Let's chat bottle design, very high quality and instagramable. What went into the thought process when piecing the product together.

DM: We were determined to have a bottle that reflected the premium nature of the product and embodied the California vibe and feel. As a brand born in California, we were naturally inspired by the colors, hues, and textures of the region. The label design was inspired by golden hour and the brilliant sunsets we get to enjoy throughout the year. The design prominently features the Pamos sun icon embellished in a warm copper foil. When the bottle catches the sunlight, you get a soft glow that provides a wonderful contrast to the tonal quality of the bottle.
