Just in time for summer cravings, Junior Cookies — the viral, bite-sized dessert brand beloved by Hollywood stars, TikTok tastemakers, and sweet-toothed locals alike — is opening a brand new storefront in Santa Monica this June.
From a home kitchen in Los Angeles to delivering joy across the city through UberEats and DoorDash, Junior Cookies has always had one mission: to bake the world’s freshest, most imaginative cookies — with zero shortcuts and all the love. Following the success of their West Hollywood flagship, this Santa Monica expansion marks a sweet new chapter for the family-run business.
Founded in 2017 by the Sevis family — a mother, son, and daughter trio — Junior Cookies has built a cult following with its made-to-order cookie creations. Each treat is layered with gourmet fillings like housemade creams, farm-fresh fruits, Belgian chocolate, and globally inspired flavors. Signature bites include fan-favorites like Turkish Pistachio Cookie Cups, Crème Brûlée, Nutella Cookie Cups, Passionfruit Pavlova, and rotating seasonal exclusives. The Santa Monica shop will offer beloved classics along with location-specific menu additions inspired by the beachside community and a new wave of chef collaborations.
Speaking of chefs, Junior Cookies has teamed up with celebrated L.A. culinary talents like Chef Ali Cegniz (coined one of Los Angeles best private chefs), Persian Chef Nicole Dayani, Turkish Chef Okay Inak, Italian Chef Arturo Avallone and most recently, Chef Ben Sidell, each bringing bold perspectives and local flair to the cookie lineup. The brand also collaborated with television personality Heather Dubrow on a limited-edition cookie benefiting The Trevor Project.
This expansion continues the brand’s mission to keep things small-batch, family-led, and deliciously local — in contrast to the cookie-cutter chains. With cookies served at events for Kris Jenner, Salma Hayek, and Angelina Jolie, and love from names like Charli D’Amelio, Bella Poarch, and Alex Cooper, Junior Cookies is a celebrity favorite. Corporate clients like Uber Eats, TikTok, Spotify, CAA, Fred Segal, and Google also can’t get enough.
